On behalf of the Victoria Commandery Investiture Committee, we are very pleased to be bringing you information about our April 22nd – April 24th, 2022 Investiture Events.
Friday, April 22nd, please join us for the Aspirants’ Welcome Reception from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm at the Victoria Golf Club. On April 23rd, at 4:30 pm at Christ Church Cathedral, we will have the Investiture Service along with the historic dubbing of any Dames who wish to be included. (please indicate on the attached registration form and return to Dame Hazel Braithwaite if you are a Dame who wishes to be dubbed). At 6:00 pm, following the ceremony, there will be a reception, dinner and auction at the Union Club of Victoria. On April 24th, at 9:45 am the Aspirants’ Breakfast (by invitation only) takes place at the Union Club.
Attached is all of the information that you should need in both Word and PDF formats, however if you do have any questions at all, require more information, or need help filling out the registration form attached, or the payment form on hibid (https://www.hibid.ca/register/sosj-victoria-2021-investiture-gala ), please contact Dame Hazel Braithwaite at hazel.braithwaite@shaw.ca and she will be happy to help you navigate through the information. Please fill out the registration form and return it to her ASAP to ensure your space at the reception and dinner. The deadline is March 11th and space is limited. Please note that there will be no refunds after April 1st, 2022.
If you registered last year, Dame Braithwaite will be in touch to confirm your payment, but we do ask that you fill out the registration form again, in case any information has changed, and send it to her via email.

We will be following the Provincial Health Orders. Vaccine passports will have to be shown at all locations, and masks guidelines will be in place as well. Those who have a medical reason and are unable to receive vaccines would be required to test within 72 hours of the events and wear a mask during attendance. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation of these requirements.
